Is my image uploaded to your servers?

No! All processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your images never leave your device and are never uploaded to our servers. This ensures complete privacy and security.

What metadata gets removed?

We remove ALL metadata including EXIF data (camera settings, date/time), GPS coordinates (location data), IPTC data (copyright, author), and XMP data (editing software info). The cleaned image contains only the visual pixels.

Does cleaning metadata reduce image quality?

No. We use canvas rendering to strip metadata while preserving the original image quality. The visual appearance remains identical - only the hidden metadata is removed.

Can I clean multiple images at once?

Currently, you can process one image at a time. For batch processing, simply repeat the process for each photo. We're considering adding bulk upload in future updates.

What image formats are supported?

We support JPG/JPEG, PNG, and WebP formats. These are the most common image formats that contain metadata. The cleaned image is exported in the same format as the original.
